October 20th, 2008 at 7:04 pmI haven’t seen this since I was in school, but I seem to remember drawing parallels between The Lottery and the military draft. Can anyone else see any comparisons? I thought the film was timely considering the Vietnam war. Am I wrong? I haven’t seen the film or read the story in about 35 yrs.!
